At Diamond Athletics Cheer & Tumbling in Oakland County, Michigan, we provide a comprehensive range of tumbling classes designed to cater to athletes of all skill levels, from beginner to elite. Each class focuses on specific tumbling skills, ensuring that athletes learn and master each level before progressing to the next. Our dedicated coaches emphasize proper technique through targeted drill stations, offering hands-on spotting to ensure safety and skill enhancement.


We believe that proper progression is essential for developing beautiful tumbling skills. To support this, our coaches conduct monthly athlete evaluations to identify advancement opportunities and provide valuable feedback. The Fundamentals of Tumbling

In our Fundamentals of Tumbling class, athletes will learn the essential skills and foundational body shapes needed to build and master new tumbling techniques. This class is perfect for beginners ready to explore the exciting world of all-star tumbling! This is an ideal starting point for young athletes looking to develop their tumbling abilities in a fun, supportive environment! Key skills covered include:

Middle/High School Tumbling

At Diamond Athletics, we understand the unique requirements set by the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and are proud to offer specialized training for middle and high school athletes. Our expert coaches are well-versed in the specific rules and demands of each sport, ensuring students receive tailored guidance that aligns with MHSAA standards.

Elite Level 1

This is the class for your all star athlete to focus on their elite level one tumbling skills, both standing and running tumbling. The ultimate goal of this class is to confidently master all level appropriate and elite level one skills as follows:

This class is designed for all-star athletes looking to refine their elite Level 2 tumbling skills, including both standing and running techniques. The primary goal is to help athletes confidently master all Level 2 skills, progressing through each with precision and strength.

This class is perfect for all-star athletes aiming to advance their elite Level 2 tumbling skills, covering both standing and running techniques. The ultimate goal is for each athlete to build confidence while mastering all Level 2 skills with precision and control.

Drop In Tumbling - Coach Nick

Sundays 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. $20 Cash

Take your tumbling skills to the next level at Diamond Athletics! Our drop-in tumbling classes focus on proper technique development through targeted drills and professional spotting in our state-of-the-art facility.

Training Focus: • Progressive skill development • Technical drill work • Professional spotting • Form correction and refinement • Safe progression methods

Our Approach: Each session emphasizes proper technique through focused drill work and hands-on instruction. Coach Nick provides expert spotting to ensure safe progression while breaking down skills into manageable components for optimal learning and advancement.

Add-On Classes

Jump Conditioning for Cheerleading: Perfect your athlete’s jump flexibility, height, and form with our Jump Conditioning class! This class is dedicated to improving the foundational skills of every cheer athlete, helping them reach new heights in their performance. Focused jump training enhances both strength and technique, making it ideal for athletes aiming to boost their jumps for cheerleading competitions.


Cheer Strength and Conditioning Class: Prepare your athlete for the endurance and strength demands of an all-star cheerleading routine. Our Strength and Conditioning class develops key muscle groups and stamina, allowing athletes to perform routines with confidence, power, and control. This class is essential for cheerleaders wanting to improve every aspect of their performance, from lifts to tumbling.


Flight Class for Cheer Flyers: Flyers, refine your technique and gain confidence in our specialized Flight Class. This training focuses on flexibility, body control, and the specific muscles required for safe and effective stunting. With guidance from experienced instructors and practice with an expert stunt group, athletes will enhance their balance, strength, and control—essential skills for all-star cheerleading flyers.
